Cristina Romo
Cristina Romo is a third generation designer who began creating silver jewelry by the age of five. Her mother, renowned artist Emilia Castillo, taught her silversmithing techniques & encouraged her to follow her own creative drive. Growing up in her family's workshops outside of Taxco, Mexico in a unique & secluded ranch where tropical plants & waterfalls surround the workshops, she was fascinated by the creativity around her. Thus she began to develop her own line of handmade pieces using porcelain, silver, alabaster & semi-precious stones. Combing these materials, Cristina seeks to reinterpret the beauty of nature that has surrounded her since her childhood.
